Challenge

Our Client was looking for external help implementing a universal protocol for zero-touch onboarding of IoT devices in manufacturing plants.

Project Scope

Our rinf.tech team made the following contributions to the Client’s project success:

Implemented a comprehensive Manufacturer Authorized Signing Authority (MASA) solution, enabling secure and efficient IoT device authentication.
Developed a user-friendly REST API, allowing easy onboarding and management of IoT devices, including batch operations.
Crafted a solution that supports multiple tenants with individual identity providers, in line with Siemens’ identity management strategy, and allowing precise access control.
Built an “always-up” architecture, ready for global distribution across multiple hosting sites.
End-to-end project management and execution.
